1. The service

lwyr.site lets lawyers build and publish a one-page professional website at lwyr.site/yourname. It includes a website builder, optional reading of your business card to fill in your details, hosting, an inquiry form with an inbox, visitor statistics and a QR code. Features are described on our home page and pricing page.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract.
• The service is for lawyers and legal professionals. Only describe qualifications, bar admissions and experience you actually hold.
• Keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• Give us accurate information and keep your contact email up to date.

3. Free week

The first site you publish on an account goes live free for 7 days. No payment details are needed. Each account gets one free week, even if the site is deleted. When it ends, the site is switched off unless you choose a paid plan. Your draft and web address stay saved in your account, and you can choose a plan at any time to put the site back online.

4. Plans, billing and renewal

• Plans are billed monthly or yearly. Current prices are shown on our pricing page and at checkout, including any taxes that apply where you live.
• Plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard or through the link in your receipt. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, and your site stays online until then.
• If we change a plan’s price, we will tell you by email before it applies to your next renewal. You can cancel before then.
• If a renewal payment fails, your site goes offline when the paid period (plus a short grace period) ends, until payment succeeds.

5. Payments by Paddle

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

When you buy a plan, you buy it from Paddle, and Paddle’s buyer terms also apply. We never see or store your card details.

6. Refunds

You can ask for a full refund within 30 days of any payment. See our Refund Policy for how it works.

7. Your content and your professional duties

• You own the text, photos and other content you add to your site. You give us permission to store, display and publish it so we can run the service.
• You are responsible for your site’s content and for following the advertising and professional conduct rules that apply to you, including those of your bar council, state bar or law society.
• Our jurisdiction notices, wording checks and drafted text are guidance only. They are not legal advice and do not guarantee that your site complies with any rule. Check your site before publishing.
• Details read from a business card may be incomplete or wrong. Review them before you publish.
• Using lwyr.site does not create a lawyer–client relationship between you and us.

8. Acceptable use

You must not use lwyr.site to:

• publish anything unlawful, misleading, defamatory or that infringes others’ rights;
• impersonate another person or lawyer, or claim qualifications you don’t hold;
• send spam, collect data unlawfully or harvest visitors’ information;
• upload malware or try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the service;
• sell anything unrelated to your legal practice through your site.

9. Web addresses

Your web address (lwyr.site/yourname) is yours to use while your account is active. We may change or reclaim an address that impersonates someone, infringes a trademark, breaks these terms, or has been reserved without being published for a long time. We will tell you first where we reasonably can.

10. Inquiries from your visitors

When visitors send you a message through your site, we store it so you can read it in your dashboard. You are responsible for how you use and protect that information, including under data protection law. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle it.

11. Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep lwyr.site available and secure, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may improve, change or remove features. If we make a change that significantly reduces what a paid plan includes, you may cancel and ask for a refund of the unused part of your current period.

12. Suspension and closing your account

You can delete your sites and stop using lwyr.site at any time. We may suspend or remove a site or account that breaks these terms or the law, or that puts other users or visitors at risk. Where we do so without a serious reason, we will refund the unused part of your current period.

13. Liability

lwyr.site is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost clients, profits or data, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

14. Indemnity

You agree to cover reasonable losses we suffer because of claims by others arising from your site’s content or your breach of these terms.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here and, for significant changes, email you at least 14 days before they take effect. If you keep using lwyr.site after that, the new terms apply.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of New Delhi, India have exclusive jurisdiction, except where the law of your country gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts.
